RESCUE

March 13th 2009

Paddy.

We received a call from a lady in Truro on Friday the 13, about a badger in her next door neighbours house. The house was empty, the lady said the badger could not get out, due do to wall. When we arrived we found the house had a 10 ft retaining wall all round so the badger had fallen 10ft on to concrete. I caught the badger and we took him to the vets, where he was treated. It was found to have a nasty wound on his rump from fighting, but no other damage from the fall. Only bruising so the wound was cleaned and he had  antibiotics and a pain killing injection. We then took him back to our recovery unit, where he has settled in well.

Latest News.
On Thursday 2nd April, we returned Paddy to his home in Truro. He was in fine form well fed and raring to go. He ran straight out of the cage with a quick look round and straight of to his sett. Another good release...
