RESCUE
Feburary 7th 2009.
Rosebud.
We received a call about 2.30pm on the 5th feb from Felicity from the R.S.P.C.A., asking if we could go to Godrivey to rescue a badger that a dog walker had found in a ditch. So we set off, we arrived and found a elderly couple with the badger wrapped in a blanket. They had found it and had decided to take it to a dog rescue centre in Hayle. We arrived just as they where about to put in the car, we explained who we where and found out they had called us as well, only we where already on route. We took the badger to the vets, where it was treated for a severe wound under the neck. It was given antibiotics and a pain injection, we then took her to our recovery centre.
Sadly we had a call that the badger passed away during the night. A sad end.
