RESCUE
Feburary 5th 2009.
Storm.
On the 5th Feb, Felicity of the R.S.P.C.A. called me to ask if we could take a badger that had been hit by a car. It was in C.V.E.T.S. vets based in Truro. I said yes we could take it and we collected him that evening. He had a wound to the chin and was suffering from concussion. We took him to our recovery centre, where he is being well looked after and seem to be responding ok. He is eating well and drinking plenty, we expect to realise him later next week, all being well.
Up date!
We collected Storm from our recovery pens last evening Thursday 26th. We returned him to the area he was found, a few weeks before. He was fully recovered and ready to go, once out of the cage he made off straight to his sett. Another successful release.
