April 10th 2008.

Well we had our first badger rescue yesterday. We went to pick up a badger that had been kept in a ladies shed for a week at Mylor Bridge. So myself and Lucy one of our drivers set off to collect the badger. On arrival we found that it was in a pretty bad way. We immediately took it straight to the vets, where it was found to have had a ear infection. Unfortunatly it had become so bad it  had entered the brain, so sadly he had to be put to sleep as he could not be saved. It was a sad start for Cornwall Badger Rescue, but at least the badger did not suffer anymore.

Hope we have better luck next time
