While out walking their dogs a couple were suprised when one of the terriers appeared carrying a small animal. As they inspected the creature the dog returned with a second. The animals were badger cubs approx. 2 weeks old eyes still shut and with very little hair. The cubs had puncture wounds from being carried by the dog which needed antibiotic treatment and pain relief. Then the job of hand rearing began. Six weeks later they were weaned and ready to move on to Secret World in Somerset to continue their rehabilitation.
