We were called by a lady from Mevagissy on the 29 May she said her dog had found a badger under her hedge near her door and it was looking very bad. She tried feeding it some ham but it was not interested and she was worried it may have been shot as the night before the local farmers where doing some shooting so I said we would go and get her, we drove to Mevagissy and found her where the lady said. We managed to get her and took her to our vets where she was anaesthetized and checked over she had a small wound on her back leg and bad bruising to it and her back she may have been tangled up in wire and managed to free herself but in the process she had hurt her leg. She will be with us for a week and then released back where she came from so another good outcome
