RESCUES

June 8th 2008

At 9am this morning I  had a phone call from a lady and gent in Redruth, saying they needed help. They had called the RSPCA but could not get an answer, so they looked on line and found us. The problem was a badger in the toilet! when I asked if this was a joke, he said no it had come in through the open back door. Up some steps and into the toilet, where his wife got a shock, as she came across a very angry badger growling at her. So myself and Lucy collected the badger and took it to the vets in Hayle.

After examination it was found to have severe wounds to its back down to the bone and was encrusted with infection and maggots. So unfortunatly it had to be put to sleep a sad ending to a rescue.
