Toffee may 7th Ivybridge

A fox cub had been taken to a vet after being found collapsed. The poor thing was covered in ticks and these were literally sucking the life from her. Once these parasites were disposed of she immediately started to improve. We collected her from the R.S.P.C.A and she has joined Fudge in our fox enclosure.

 Digger may 7th Bissoe

A distressed badger cub was seen running along a road during the day. The finder was able to pick her up and take her home. A vet check found no injuries but she seemed very subdued. We arranged transport to Secret World as soon as possible as we felt she needed the company of other badger cubs.

Clifford may 23rd Trengrove Cross

Clifford spent 5 weeks in our care whilst recovering from infected bite wounds. He had been rescued from a barn by the RSPCA and was returned and released in the same area.

Archie may 30th  Redruth

This fox cub survived being hit by a car, with only a cut to his head. After a couple of days of observation to ensure no further problems developed, Archie was released into our enclosure to stay  until mature enough to be set free. with the company of Fudge and Toffee.

Beccy 30th may Ivybridge

A call from the RSPCA alerted us to a badger cub who needed a place to stay. Beccy had been found two days earlier and as she obviously was unable to find her way home had to come into care. The Officer rendevoused with us at Launceston and we collected the little cub. A check at the vets on the way home found she was under weight and had an anal prolapse due to diarrhea she had from eating unsuitable foodstuffs in the barn. Once her diet inproved, so did her digestion and the prolapse righted itself. Beccy was soon fit enough to travel up to Secret World.
